Karson Blu Builds Momentum With Music, Live Performances, and Artist of the Year Recognition
An October award marks a new milestone for the artist following months of performances, hosting appearances, collaborations, and brand partnerships.

Karson Blu earned Trap Rite TV’s 2026 Female Artist of the Year award on October 17, adding recognition to a year spent recording, performing, hosting, and building her presence across the Twin Cities and beyond.
As she approaches a year of working with Blu’s Krew Media, her story includes headline appearances, opening slots for touring artists, radio exposure, and new music awaiting release.
Before that partnership began in November 2025, Karson had already released music that introduced her to local listeners. “Put That Shit On” with Trevo the Pain and her featured appearance on “Call My Phone” by Big Shiv Productions were part of that early foundation. Her management team points to the local response to those songs as a starting point for the next phase.
On November 15, 2025, Karson opened for Mello Buckzz at The Compound. A photo shoot with David Kenyon Photography followed that month, providing fresh images for a rebuilt press kit, updated contact pages, and upcoming release campaigns.
By December 20, she was headlining Glacial Fest in Milwaukee, adding an out-of-state headline appearance to her résumé.
The work continued into 2026. On January 2, Karson appeared on the Thick Skin podcast, hosted by Jacob Johnson and co-hosted by Mad Chat. She released “Miney Moe” early in the year, followed by an appearance on “Vibes from the Kitchen” with Dutch Ruger on March 25. The “Miney Moe” video, shot by Fella Fellz, arrived on July 25.
Throughout that period, Karson maintained an active performance and hosting schedule.
She headlined Clout at Pimento on May 4, hosted by DJ Cam Jones, and opened for Sada Baby at Gold Room on May 22. On May 24, she hosted and performed at a private boat party associated with Blue Panties. She then co-hosted “Freeze Tag” with Ashli Henderson on May 29.
June brought another stretch of appearances. Karson performed in the Waterwave cypher on June 10, took the stage for 612 Day at the Red Sea on June 12, and opened for Lil MU at Reign on June 13. On June 20, she returned to Reign to host K Karbon’s live concert.
Her broader performance credits include the Black State Fair, a featured appearance at No Mercy 30, and shows across Twin Cities venues including Acadia, Gold Room, Reign, and the Red Sea.
Hosting has also become a recurring part of her work. Karson co-hosted the in-person event “The Lock In” and hosted “Ghetto Jeopardy” on August 1, presented by Maintain Entertainment and produced by Blu’s Krew Productions. On August 22, she hosted Cutting for the Cause, an annual charity car show.
Summer collaborations added another dimension to her schedule. Karson participated in the “Single for the Summer” remix, with its video shoot taking place on August 6. She returned to Live on Lake Street on August 14 for a mic-drop performance of the remix.
On August 29, she also participated in the video shoot for BHM Stains and GT Mello’s “Throw It” remix. Her contribution was an on-camera appearance rather than a rap feature.
Radio exposure has accompanied that live and collaborative work. Karson received Artist of the Month recognition from WURM Radio in Southern Indiana, along with airplay on Icon Radio and outlets connected with Go DJ Corey Lamar. Her management team also reports rotation on Minneapolis station KMOJ.

Beyond music, Karson has expanded her involvement in merchandise and brand partnerships.
The Blue Panties cocktail was introduced with its branding in place on February 10, following earlier development. Karson serves as an ambassador as work toward broader product distribution continues. She also represents Pretty Bad Habit and has signed a new ambassador agreement with Minnesota brand Hall of Flame.
Blu’s Krew launched its clothing operation with Karson involved, including merchandise supporting her artist identity. Her “Scratch the E” shirts sold out before Wavefest. The Groundwork shirts introduced at Wavefest remain available.
At Wavefest earlier in October, Karson gave “Touch” its first live performance. Her management team observed a positive audience response, making the appearance an opportunity to introduce listeners to new music alongside the new merchandise.
Following her October 17 Trap Rite TV award, Karson completed an interview with DJ Lazy K for Shaq Fu Radio. The recorded interview includes forthcoming releases “Girl Code” and “Hell of an Earth,” which are slated to premiere when the interview airs. A broadcast date has not yet been announced.
She also has a performance ahead at the Roast of AK in December 2026.
From her early collaborations to headline appearances, community events, and new releases, Karson Blu has continued adding to her body of work. Her Artist of the Year recognition marks a milestone in that progression, with more music and another stage appearance still ahead.
